SCRAPP-R: Infinite* Boss Variety

SCRAPP-R was the final team project for the first year of Computing for Games, in which we needed to create a game with a few set restrictions however we generally had complete creative freedom in terms of the type of game.

It is a boss rush rogue like in which the player must survive hoards of bosses with seemingly endless variety thanks to the module system. Bosses have 5 different types of modules which are assigned randomly, making bosses feel like a unique experience to fight each time. The ultimate objective is to survive as many rounds as possible.

My Primary role in this project was on Weapons Programming and Parts of the UI System (Victory Screens & Pause Menus) with some work on the player near the start. This project really gave me familiarity with Unity's event system, which I was able to use to a good effect in the game.

This was my first team project in which I worked with other programmers, this allowed me to get a great understanding on the works of communicating and planning roles with the other programmers on the team. Overall I think we did a great job in dividing work flows allowing for efficient development.
